IAMA CEO Update (Spring 2017)

Many places have experienced extreme weather this past Winter. For most of us in the Northern Hemisphere, Spring is beginning. I am always excited about Spring, it brings new life and new opportunities for growth. I pray God is giving you newness of life and opportunities for growth both in your ministries and personally.

The IAMA website has benefited greatly from having James Baker as our new website manager. The focus has been
on getting the IAMA Conference information posted. In the coming months the “Members Only” section will be activated. That section is where you will login in to get access to members only information. You can visit James Baker’s website by clicking on the link below: (Click here to visit James Baker’s website).

Is your organization listed as an IAMA member? If you don’t see your organization listed let me know. We are trying to keep that up to date so that current members are listed. Is there information you would like listed and a website link we can put under your name? Send it to me for inclusion.

Registration is open for the IAMA Conference which will be hosted by San Diego Christian College with most meetings at Shadow Mountain Church. One of the highlights will be that Dr. David Jeremiah will be our Thursday evening banquet speaker. Information is available online. Check it out and plan to attend.

Helimission was recently featured in the European “Business Air News”. Check it out by clicking on the link below:

  • Send me your organizational updates if you want them included in the 2017 Conference Handbook. Please keep it to a ½ page. Deadline for submission is May 19, 2017.
  • Derek Reimer is updating the IAMA Aviation Database. Please check your information and email any changes directly to Derek Reimer. Check it out! It is full of information about our mission aviation fleet.
  • There is still room to display at EAA Airventure in Oshkosh but you need to let me know soon if you want in. The IAMA tent is just about full so don’t delay.

If you make it to Sun N Fun make sure you stop by the IAMA tent and say hello to everyone who will not only be enjoying the weather, but helping to share the challenge of missionary aviation to those who we encounter at the show.

Under His Wings,
